We often say that family, health, growth, or rest matters deeply to us. Yet when we examine the calendar, it may contain only work, obligations, and other people’s requests. Our real priorities appear not only in our words, but in what receives protected time. This is not a reason for guilt; it is an honest audit. When something matters, it needs a place in the week, even a small one. Time does not automatically find what is important to us. We usually have to make room for it in advance.
