Editorial standards

YouAndWorld is a social-psychological and educational publication covering self-development, relationships, knowledge and personal growth. This page explains who makes our content, how it is reviewed before publication, where we use AI assistance, and how to reach us if something is wrong.

Who writes for us

YouAndWorld is founded and edited by Gevorg Abgaryan, who is publicly identifiable and reachable through the About page and LinkedIn. Alongside the editor, registered contributors may submit articles, poems, aphorisms and gallery entries through their author account. Every contributor keeps their byline on the work they submit.

How content is reviewed

Contributed content is not published automatically. Submissions enter a pending review state and are read by the editor before they can move to published. Work that is inaccurate, unattributed, off-topic or written primarily to attract search traffic is not published. The editor may edit submissions for clarity, structure and accuracy before publication.

Where we use AI assistance

We disclose AI use rather than hide it. Recurring daily content — in particular the daily horoscopes — is produced with the assistance of AI language models. That output passes through a language-finalisation stage and an automated quality check, and is subject to editorial oversight before it is published. AI is a drafting and translation aid in our workflow; it does not replace the editor's judgement about what gets published. Where a page is produced this way, it is covered by this disclosure.

Sources and attribution

Aphorisms, quotations and poems are attributed to their original authors wherever the author is known. We do not present other people's writing as our own. If you believe something on this site is published without proper attribution or permission, contact us and we will correct or remove it.

Corrections

We correct mistakes rather than quietly deleting them. If you find a factual error, a broken attribution or outdated information, write to us with the page address and what is wrong. We aim to respond within five working days. Substantive corrections to an article are noted on the page itself.

Advertising and independence

This site is funded by advertising and shows ads from third-party ad networks. Advertisers have no influence over our editorial content, and we do not accept payment in exchange for coverage or for a particular opinion. Advertising is visually separated from editorial content.
