Loneliness does not always mean that no one is around you.

Loneliness does not always mean that no one is around you. Sometimes the deepest loneliness appears among people with whom you cannot be yourself. You speak but are not heard. You are present but remain unseen. You constantly adjust yourself to avoid losing a place where you never truly felt safe. Do not fear temporary solitude so much that you choose permanent emotional emptiness. With the right people, you do not have to make yourself smaller to be accepted. Belonging begins where you can breathe freely.
