Sleep, food, movement, and rest are not rewards you must earn only after every task is complete.
Sleep, food, movement, and rest are not rewards you must earn only after every task is complete. They are the foundation that makes effective work possible at all. When you repeatedly say, “Just a little more, then I will rest,” your basic needs become part of an endless negotiation. Eventually, you pay that debt through your concentration, mood, and health. Responsibilities matter, but you are also part of the system you are trying to maintain. Do not sacrifice the foundation for temporary speed. Caring for yourself is not escaping work. It is protecting your ability to continue.
