Big plans often do not collapse because of one enormous mistake.

Big plans often do not collapse because of one enormous mistake. They weaken slowly through small leaks: a daily unnecessary expense, ten minutes that becomes two hours, a minor debt repeatedly postponed, or an unfinished commitment. Each one looks harmless in isolation. Repetition gives it power. Do not search only for a dramatic transformation. Notice where money, time, or attention disappears a little every day. Closing one small leak can create more progress than designing another ambitious plan. A resource you stop losing is also a gain.
