Tomorrow's plan says “start the project,” but your desk gives you no clue where to begin. Before leaving tonight, open the document and write one question at the top. Put the notes you need beside it. Your first task tomorrow is to answer that question, even badly. You can improve the answer later. Preparing one visible starting point will not finish the project for you. It simply saves you from deciding where to start when you sit down.
