Confidence is not always a feeling that suddenly appears from within.

Confidence is not always a feeling that suddenly appears from within. Sometimes it is built through ordinary preparation: practicing, writing down questions, checking the material, and repeating the difficult part. You can still feel nervous and be ready at the same time. The presence of fear does not mean you are incapable of performing well. When confidence does not arrive, do not wait for it. Prepare until the next step becomes possible. In many cases, confidence catches up after you begin.
