Before starting something new, you may want to feel completely prepared. Some answers, however, become clear only through trying. Choose a small experiment whose result you can examine calmly: write a first draft, practise one skill, or put forward a simple proposal. Decide what you want to learn from the attempt. If it does not work, that does not mean the whole path is closed. You can adjust your approach using what you observed. A beginning can teach you something useful even when it is still unfinished.
