Hidden Beauty: Dewdrops and Tiny Worlds
A red chrysanthemum, a blade of grass, a spider web and a caterpillar become four miniature landscapes. These close-up photographs reveal water droplets, fine threads and textures that are easy to miss.

Dew on a Red Chrysanthemum
A closer view changes familiar things. Dew catches the light along a red chrysanthemum’s petals, three rounded drops line a blade of grass, and beads of water trace a spider web. The final photograph moves close to a caterpillar covered in tiny droplets. Petals, threads and fine hairs each hold a different pattern of water.
