- Procrastination: This is one of the most common causes of failure.
The “old man’s procrastination” lurks in every person’s shadow, waiting for an opportunity to ruin their chances of achieving success.
Many of us live our lives as failures because we wait for the “right time” to come to do something worthwhile. DON’T WAIT. The time will never be “right now.” Start where you are and work with what you have, and over time you will acquire better tools.
- Lack of Perseverance: Almost all of us are good “starters” of anything, but bad “finishers.” Moreover, people tend to give up at the first sign of defeat. There is no substitute for persistence.
The person who makes persistence a way of life discovers that the "Old Loser" finally tires and leaves. Failure cannot be combined with persistence.
- Negative Personality: A person who repels people with his negative personality cannot hope to achieve success.
Success comes through the manifestation of strength, and strength is created by working together with other people. A negative personality does not lend itself to the cooperation of other people.
- Lack of control over sexual desires:
- The uncontrolled desire for "something for nothing."
- Inability to make decisions. People who succeed make decisions quickly and change them slowly if at all.
People who fail, if they do make decisions, do so very slowly and change them frequently and quickly.
Indecision and procrastination are twins. When one is there, the other is usually there. Kill them completely before they try to lead you to failure.
- Fear. Fear of various kinds often hinders people's progress:
• illness,
• loss of loved ones,
• old age,
• death,
• anxiety.
