A meaningful thought

Your brain loves fast rewards. A new message, short video, like, or notification gives immediate pleasure. Important activities such as studying, exercising, working, or building something usually reward you much later. That is why the phone often defeats the book, the sofa defeats the workout, and short-term pleasure defeats long-term goals. The problem is not always a lack of motivation. Sometimes your environment is designed to distract you constantly. Disable unnecessary notifications. Keep your phone away while working. Break difficult tasks into smaller steps. Discipline is not always about having stronger willpower. Often, it is about creating a better environment.
