A meaningful thought
Trusting yourself is not merely thinking positively about who you are. Self-trust grows each time you keep a small promise you made to yourself. You say you will read for ten minutes, and you do it. You decide to sleep on time, and you follow through. You promise not to return to a situation that harms you, and you stay away. When you repeatedly break your own word, part of you begins to doubt you. When you keep it, even in small matters, you build an inner foundation. Confidence often begins not with a major victory, but with one quiet belief: “I can rely on myself.”
