A meaningful thought
Resentment often grows from expectations we never expressed. We assume another person should automatically know what we need, what hurts us, or what support we expect. When they do not, we begin silently counting every disappointment. But someone cannot reliably meet an agreement they never knew existed. Speak about your needs clearly and early. A direct request is not unreasonable. It gives the relationship a chance to solve the problem before silence becomes distance.
