A meaningful thought

When praised, you may instantly minimize it: “It was nothing,” or “I just got lucky.” It is almost as if you return the warmth you were given. Try simply saying, “Thank you; I am glad you noticed.” You do not need arrogance, but you need not disappear beside your success. Receiving praise is not vanity. It means allowing a kind word to reach you without meeting a locked door.
