A meaningful thought
Generosity is a beautiful quality, but when you always give what you do not have, kindness turns into depletion. You can support others while still protecting your time, money, and energy. Healthy help should not require weeks of recovery or leave you secretly angry at the people you voluntarily agreed to assist. Before saying yes, ask: Am I giving from care or from guilt? Can I offer this amount without harming myself? Generosity with boundaries lasts longer because it is not built on self-erasure and silent resentment.
