A meaningful thought
When people often come to you for help, it is easy to confuse being needed with being loved. You solve problems, listen, organize, and remain available. But ask this: Are they interested in you when they need nothing? Being needed may mean that you are useful. Being loved means your presence has value even when you are not providing a service. In a healthy relationship, you do not have to earn your place continuously. People remember you outside moments of crisis, ask how you are, and remain present on the days when you have no strength to carry anyone else’s burden.
